This has been, by far, my favorite debate out of all of them. The debate takes place in a Christian church in Iowa with a live audience of 3,000. The nominees are asked difficult questions about their world views, morals, faith and so much more. Michelle Bochman and Rick Perry both explain about their live changing events where they accept Jesus Christ as their personal Lord and Savior. Rick Perry says that everyone has a void in their hearts that only Jesus Christ can fill! Can you imagine that happening on CNN or NBC? Herman Cain even tells an emotional story about his struggle with cancer and breaks down into tears.
The introduction is 30 minutes long and is very encouraging and refreshing with worship music, prayer and a great performance of the song America the Beautiful. Dr. Del Tackett is present in the audience and is mentioned, as well as the breakthrough video series that he headed up – The Truth Project. My wife and I really enjoyed watching this debate. I would highly recommend seeing it if you haven’t.
